About the Joey Dunlop website...

This is the Official website of Joey Dunlop. It is a on-line virtual museum of Joey's life and achievements that I designed and now run of behalf of Joey's wife, Linda and his family.

Back in 1978, I first visited the Isle of Man with my brother Steve and friend Richard to witness the return of Mike Hailwood to the TT races, and some 33 years later I have the privilege of running the official website on behalf of Pauline and David Hailwood www.mikethebike.com

I also followed Joey throughout his Isle of Man TT career, watching him collect his 26 TT victories and wanted to create a tribute site to him so I purchased the website domain www.joeydunlop.co.uk about 5 years ago, but never got around to doing it.

However, in June 2011, I was contacted by Joey's daughter, Donna McClean, to see if I would be interested in helping her create a website for her Daddy. This was the kick up the backside I needed and after 100's of hours of burning the midnight oil, this website is my gift to Joey, his family and his fans as a lasting legacy to "Yer Maun" for the pleasure he gave me and many others.

If you enjoy this website, then join us on our Facebook page and leave some feedback.

This is just the start, and we hope to grow the website with your photos and keep adding more information.
